01

Company & Manufacturing

Is Axelon Surgical a manufacturer or a trading company?
Axelon Surgical operates as a surgical instrument manufacturer and OEM supplier based in Sialkot, Pakistan. Buyers communicate directly with our team about product specifications, branding, quantities, sampling, production, and dispatch.
Where is Axelon Surgical located?
Our manufacturing location is: Nawa Pind, Sialkot, Punjab, Pakistan 51310. Sialkot is internationally known for the production and export of surgical and dental instruments.
What types of customers do you work with?
We welcome enquiries from medical distributors, wholesalers, importers, hospital suppliers, online sellers, procurement companies, and businesses developing their own private-label surgical instrument range.
Can you handle both standard and custom instruments?
Yes. Standard catalogue instruments can be supplied according to the selected pattern, size, and finish. Custom work can also be reviewed from a drawing, specification sheet, reference sample, image, or clearly identified instrument pattern.
Can you confirm production capacity before we place a bulk order?
Yes. Capacity depends on the instrument type, quantity, customization, and required delivery date. Send us the SKU list and quantities so we can review the workload and provide a realistic production schedule before confirmation.
02

Products, Materials & Construction

What surgical instrument categories can you supply?
Our enquiries commonly cover forceps, scissors, needle holders, clamps, retractors, scalpels and handles, probes, elevators, rongeurs, curettes, dental instruments, orthopedic instruments, ENT instruments, gynecology instruments, and procedure-specific instrument sets. Availability is confirmed against your list.
Which stainless-steel grade is used?
The suitable grade depends on the instrument's function, hardness requirement, working parts, and requested specification. Tell us the required grade when it is already defined. When it is not defined, we can recommend a suitable material option for review before production.
Material should be approved together with the instrument pattern, dimensions, finish, and intended use.
Are your instruments reusable and suitable for autoclave processing?
Many stainless-steel surgical instruments in our range are reusable and designed for repeated reprocessing. Suitability must still be confirmed for the exact product, material, coating, and construction ordered. Always follow the product-specific instructions and your facility's validated cleaning and processing procedure.
What surface finishes are available?
Depending on the instrument, available options may include satin or matte finishing, mirror polishing, and other product-specific finishes. The selected finish should be stated in the enquiry and approved on the sample or order specification.
Can dimensions, jaws, serrations, handles, or overall length be changed?
Yes, where technically practical. Common changes include overall length, jaw profile, serration pattern, tip shape, handle style, ratchet position, and working-end dimensions. Custom changes are reviewed before quotation because they may affect tooling, sampling, quantity, price, and lead time.
Can you supply complete instrument sets?
Yes. Sets can be prepared from a customer-provided list or discussed according to a procedure or specialty. The final contents, quantities, case or tray requirement, labels, and packing method must be approved before production.
Are color identification options available?
Color rings, inserts, or other identification methods may be available for selected instruments. Availability depends on the product design and the required processing method, so the option should be confirmed during quotation.
03

OEM & Private Label Manufacturing

Do you offer OEM and private-label manufacturing?
Yes. We work with buyers who want instruments produced for their own brand, catalogue, or distribution business. The OEM scope can include product selection, agreed modifications, logo marking, model numbers, labels, boxes, and export packing.
Can you add our logo or brand name to the instruments?
Yes. Laser marking or another suitable marking method can be discussed for the instrument, depending on its size, surface, and available marking area. Send the logo in a clear vector or high-resolution format together with the required placement.
Can you provide branded boxes, labels, and packaging?
Yes. Private-label projects can include branded labels, boxes, pouches, inserts, model numbers, barcodes, and outer cartons. Packaging is quoted according to material, print quantity, dimensions, and design requirements.
Can you manufacture from our drawings or reference sample?
Yes. We can review technical drawings, dimension sheets, photographs, CAD references, or a physical sample. Important measurements and functional details are confirmed before a development sample is prepared.
Can you help when we do not have technical drawings?
Yes. Start by sending the instrument name, pattern, required size, application, photos, and any critical dimensions. Our team can review the information and tell you what additional details or a physical reference may be required.
How are confidential designs and branding files handled?
Customer drawings, samples, logos, and project details are used for the relevant enquiry and production work. Where formal confidentiality or exclusivity is required, the terms should be agreed in writing before proprietary files or tooling are shared.
Can a new company start with a smaller private-label range?
Yes, subject to the MOQ of the selected products and packaging. A practical starting range usually focuses on fewer models and standard patterns, then expands after the buyer confirms market demand and repeat-order quantities.
04

Samples, MOQ, Pricing & Payment

What is your minimum order quantity?
There is no single MOQ for every surgical instrument. It depends on the product, material, finish, customization, packaging, and whether new tooling is required. Send your product list and expected quantities for an item-by-item reply.
Can I order a sample before bulk production?
Yes, samples can be discussed for product evaluation and approval. Sample price, courier cost, branding, and production time depend on the selected instrument and customization.
Can a sample include our final logo and finish?
Yes, where practical. A branded pre-production sample can be prepared with the agreed finish and marking so the buyer can review appearance, dimensions, handling, and branding before the bulk run.
How is pricing calculated?
Pricing is affected by the instrument pattern, size, material, finish, working complexity, quantity, marking, packaging, tooling, and delivery terms. A proper quotation is prepared after reviewing the complete requirement.
Do larger quantities receive better pricing?
Higher quantities can reduce certain setup and production costs per unit, but the actual price difference depends on the product. Volume breaks are shown in the quotation when they are available.
Are tooling, samples, printing, and shipping included in the unit price?
Not automatically. Any development, tooling, sample, custom printing, special packaging, courier, freight, or other project-specific charge should be listed separately in the quotation so the buyer can review the full cost before order confirmation.
What payment terms are available?
Payment terms are stated on the quotation or proforma invoice and may vary by order value, customization, and business relationship. Production begins after the agreed payment and order details have been confirmed.
Can a large order be delivered in more than one shipment?
Phased production or split shipments can be reviewed for larger orders. The delivery plan, quantities per shipment, additional freight cost, and payment milestones must be agreed before production.
05

Production, Product Inspection & Claims

What is checked during production and final inspection?
Checks may include dimensions, alignment, joint movement, ratchet function, jaw contact, serrations, cutting performance, tip condition, surface finish, marking, cleanliness, quantity, and packing. The exact inspection points depend on the instrument design.
How do you keep repeat orders consistent?
Repeat orders should refer to the approved product specification, sample, marking position, packaging details, and previous order reference. Any requested change should be confirmed before production so it is not mixed with the previous specification.
Can we receive pre-shipment photos or inspection information?
Product and packing photos can be requested before dispatch. Additional inspection records or buyer-specific checks should be discussed at quotation stage so the scope and any cost are clear before production begins.
Can a buyer arrange an independent pre-shipment inspection?
An independent inspection can be coordinated when it is agreed before order confirmation. The buyer should provide the inspection company, checklist, timing, and acceptance criteria early enough to avoid delaying dispatch.
What should I do if an order arrives with a problem?
Contact us promptly with the invoice or order reference, affected item code, quantity, clear photos or video, carton details, and a description of the issue. We will review the evidence against the approved specification and discuss the appropriate resolution.
How should custom acceptance criteria be communicated?
Send measurable requirements before quotation, such as dimensions, tolerances, finish, jaw alignment, cutting test, markings, packaging, and approved reference sample. Verbal or unclear expectations should be converted into written order details before production.
06

Packaging, International Orders & Delivery

Do you accept international orders?
Yes. International buyers can contact us with their destination country, product list, quantities, and preferred delivery method. Product and import requirements for the destination should be confirmed by the buyer before placing the order.
Which shipping methods can be used?
Samples and smaller orders can often be sent by international courier or air shipment. Larger commercial orders may be sent by air or sea freight. The suitable method depends on weight, dimensions, urgency, cost, and destination.
Can we use our own freight forwarder?
Yes. Buyers may nominate their own courier account, freight forwarder, or logistics partner. Handover location, documents, pickup arrangements, and shipping responsibility should be confirmed in writing before dispatch.
How are instruments packed for export?
Packing can include protective wrapping, individual bags or boxes, set packing, inner cartons, and export master cartons, depending on the product and agreed presentation. Sharp or delicate working ends should receive suitable protection during handling and transport.
Is sterile packaging included?
Sterile packaging should not be assumed unless it is clearly written in the quotation and order specification. Standard reusable instruments may be supplied non-sterile and require cleaning and processing before use. Ask our team to review any special packaging requirement.
What documents are normally prepared for shipment?
Commercial shipments normally include the agreed invoice, packing list, product description, quantities, and shipping information. Any destination-specific document requested by the buyer should be identified before order confirmation so availability and cost can be checked.
How long does production and delivery take?
Lead time depends on product complexity, quantity, raw material, branding, packaging, sample approval, and current workload. Shipping time is separate from production time. Both are estimated in the quotation before the order is placed.
07

Reusable Instrument Care

Should reusable instruments be cleaned before processing?
Yes. Visible soil must be removed through the appropriate cleaning process before a reusable instrument can be properly processed. Follow the product instructions and the validated procedure used by your healthcare or sterile-processing facility.
How should hinged instruments be positioned during cleaning?
Hinged instruments are generally cleaned in an open position so joints, box locks, ratchets, and moving areas are exposed. Delicate tips and cutting edges should be protected from impact or contact with other instruments.
What type of cleaning solution should be used?
Use a cleaner suitable for the instrument material and follow both the instrument instructions and the chemical manufacturer's directions. Neutral-pH products are commonly used for stainless-steel surgical instruments. Thorough rinsing and drying are important after cleaning.
Should instruments be inspected after cleaning?
Yes. Inspect instruments for remaining soil, stains, corrosion, cracks, loose parts, damaged tips, poor jaw alignment, stiff joints, ratchet problems, and cutting performance before they are returned to service.
Do moving joints require lubrication?
Moving joints may require a suitable water-compatible instrument lubricant as part of the facility's maintenance procedure. Use only a product intended for reusable surgical instruments and follow the instrument and lubricant instructions.
Can different metals be processed together?
Mixing dissimilar metals during cleaning can create problems for some instruments. Follow the instrument manufacturer's instructions and your facility's validated procedure, and separate items when required.
Product-specific instructions always take priority over general care guidance.
